Hey folks! Welcome to the discussion of The Sedra. These are the questions I gave to my beta readers. It makes a for a good way to really dig into the fable. Feel free to use this way of reading and to share responses to those prompts.
First Read
For each chapter, watch yourself as you read it and make a note of what you’re thinking, what you’re feeling, and what questions are surfacing for you.
Second Read
Close reading. What’s going on? What is implied, but not said? What becomes visible to you on a second reading?
As before, make notes after reading each chapter about what questions are running through your mind and what you’re feeling. What memories are unfolding for you as you read?
Third Read
Pierce the veil. What is the value of the fable, as a whole, to you? What, for you, is its purpose? How does its structure support that purpose and value?
